Lisa guides you through her workflow process for a full wedding, showing you how she organises, edits and produces finished images for a wedding within a matter of hours.

In this series Lisa takes you step by step through her Lightroom Wedding workflow process, right from importing from the card to exporting finished Jpegs. Lisa shows how a good workflow is the key to processing a wedding quickly and minimising time in the edit.

In this first film she shows you how to import image from the cards and back-up files on import. She explains how to use smart previews to create workable files you can have on a portable drive and edit on other systems, without the need to have RAW files with you at all times. Lisa then covers the basic options available such as re-naming, key wording and the basics of meta data, and where to best use them within your workflow process. Next she explains the importance of a clear and logical filing system for storing your images, to make sure you can find files simply and quickly in the future. Finally, explains how Lightrooms ability to create import presets means you can build presets for each of your common imports, such as portrait or wedding, and then the entire process can be reduced to a simple few clicks.
