We join Mark out onto location in one of Cardiff’s many park areas as he guides the delegates through shooting vintage style natural light portraits with our gorgeous model Yasmine.
Recorded on location during a live workshop Mark guides the delegates through controlling light in a park or wooded area. Mark demonstrates how to subtract light using the trees, and how to find the pockets of light when they break through. Then Mark demonstrates how strong back lighting is used to create the popular vintage style of portrait, as well as touching on a few things to consider about colour problems created by reflected light and how background choice can impact composition.
Equipment: Canon 5DmkII, Canon 70-200mm, Sekonic L358, Lastolite Tri-Grip Silver/White
