In this webiar David gives you a fairly broad overview which will cover his back-story (how he got involved in Light Painting), and we will also look at a range of work that he's created over the years using the magic of long-exposure photography. David will also introduce you to some of the tools that he uses to make his work. David also gives you an image-based tutorial which illustrates how the process works from start to finish.

David is a respected professional photographer and artist who specialises in macro photography (the ‘Little People’ / TOYS) and long-exposure photography (the art of ‘light painting’). His work has received some very welcome attention over the years which has led to him becoming involved in some very exciting projects all over the world. Highlights of the past couple of years include having some of his photography stocked by John Lewis, Art Pistol Gallery and Made In Stirling, as well as now having some of his work sailing around the world on the amazing AIDA cruise ships.

In 2018 David took the plunge and became a full-time Photographer and Artist. As well as regularly exhibiting his work, the backbone of his business is centred on running Creative Photography Workshops which he teaches to fellow photographers, and in late 2018 he also started travelling the country and teaching his Workshops in schools across Scotland.
