Lady Bug Shoot with Michelle Whitmore
In this in-depth series learn from Top Tog Michelle Whitmore as she guides you step-by-step through the entire creative process she used to create her Associate winning panel of LadyBug Images.
In this film Michelle shows you how she shoots the elements she needs to construct the final Ladybug. She begins with the macro shot of the Beetle, using LED lighting and a lightpad to shoot a simple hi-key image which is easy to then cut out for the final composite. Then we head over to the studio to shoot Roseanne for the lady element. Using studio lighting and a simple background, Michelle discusses and directs Roseanne to create the poses she wants, whilst keeping an eye on separation lighting and crossing of any backgrounds elements that might make cutting out difficult.
