Learn how to create stunning conceptual head shots. In this live demonstration Mark demonstrates the techniques and styles of shooting conceptual head shots. Using an Elinchrom Softbox strip in a not so common position, he creates beautiful images.

Mark continues with a creative approach, by lowering his shutter speed to add movement to the image. To create the movement Mark experiments with first moving his camera, and then gets other elements of the image moving to create a selection of images. Continuing to experiment with his flash balance, Mark captures a range of creative images before changing the Softbox for a reflector dish for a much harder light source while minimising light spill, giving the image a completely different look and feel.

Equipment: Canon 5D mkiii, Canon 50mm f1.8, Canon 24-105mm, Elinchrom Pro HD 500, Elinchrom Rotalux Softbox Strip 50x130cm, Elinchrom Reflector Dish, Elinchrom Skyport, Sekonic Light Meter,
