Changing Rooms - Studio Boudoir Part 4
Learn how to maximise a small studio in this fantastic series from Mark Cleghorn. Using the Academy small studio Mark adjusts and re-purposes the space to demonstrate how to set up and utilise smaller studios for a wide variety of photography styles, including space for finishing and selling.
To finish of this series Mark likes to get the client to select and bring images that they like, from google or Pintrest, to help guide him to the types of photos the client feels they actually want. This simple technique helps to make sure you deliver every time, so in this session Mark wraps it all up with some shots using the fantastic window light, as well as mixing on a little flash. Obviously not all studios will have this style of window so the key point here is to see how Mark adapts the client’s images to suit the studio space and available lights, and this is a great way to further develop your skills and style. So this creative finish should always be a key part of any session.
