10+1 Dalmatians Studio Photoshoot (Part 2)
In this film, Mark Cleghorn introduces you to 10 + 1 Dalmatians in Studio. For today's session Mark sets up a three sided studio in attempt to capture as much as physically possible within the allotted time of 1 hour. When it comes to dog photography and especially puppies, Mark knows that they will get tired and tired quickly. This means that timing is essential in order for Mark to get through all of his setups and capture the amazing images he sets out to achieve.
As for the set, Mark has opted for a white vinal on the floor, lapped up onto a white wall which will give him the basics when it comes to a hi-key image. The reflector panels you see on set, are purely used as a coral to block the puppies from running around the place and leaving the frame. Mark then plans to go into the shazllone to capture a nice group image of all the puppies at once. As for light, Mark is using 3, one big octa box as a Key light and two back lights with reflector dishes to bounce off of the white wall and reflect back to give a powerful white light background. Finally Mark then sets up a corner of the studio to shoot the Puppies on their own individual coloured card. This part of the shoot will involve the puppies as individuals, an image captured so the owners have a personalised image of each and every one of their puppies.
