Shooting Sikh Weddings Part 13 - Civil Ceremony & Anandkaraj
We Join Tarlochen on a real client three day Sikh wedding, as he shares his in-depth knowledge of the religious and cultural traditions.
With 20 years’ experience and being a Sikh himself, Tarlochen has vast knowledge of shooting Sikh weddings. Lucky for us Tarlochen wants to share this knowledge, allowing anyone to break into the Sikh wedding market.
We continue the third and final day of the Sikh wedding. Now begins the main marriage ceremony, initially there is a civil ceremony the same as a western marriage, but then this is followed by the Anandkaraj, which is the traditional Sikh ceremony. Throughout Tarlochen explains how he approaches coverage for this large gathering, and explains the key moments and people to photograph for each part.
