Presenter:

George Fairbairn has photographed many bands from Twenty One Pilots to Rage Against the Machine for magazines such as Kerrang!, Rocksound, Rhythm and more. In this film George demonstrates how to shoot a single space composite of a food fight for a Ska band.

In this three part series George takes you through a full shoot for a Ska band, from the setup to the post production. Shooting all 7 band members at once and getting perfect lighting, timing and clear view of everyone’s face is not just difficult but time consuming. George demonstrates how he is able to capture the band in small groups then bring them together in a single space composite, allowing him to perfect the lighting, timing and expressions of each member. I this part George guides us through the kit he is using for the shoot and shoots all the images needed for the single space composite. Taking you through the setup George shares key techniques to insure the post production work is quick and easy and the final image is believable.
