Portraits of a Wrestler with James Musselwhite
In this live demonstration James Musselwhite shares his techniques behind his wrestling portraits.
James got his fellowship with the masters of photographers association with his project portrait of a wrestler, in which he shot 20 wrestlers against a black background. Today James is happy to demonstrate how to apply the range of simple techniques to lighting, posing and capturing these portraits. Starting with lighting he demonstrates his approach to using a single light to illuminate the image. Then after demonstrating a single light setup James explains when to bring in a second light to highlight specific areas.
