Maternity - Charlotte in the Studio Part 1
Learn how to shoot beautiful maternity portraits in the studio. We join Mark in the studio to observe as he guides you through how he shoots a full maternity session with our wonderful model Charlotte. Starting with the basics and then gradually building the session to finish with the creative twist that will really make your sessions stand out from the crowd.
In the first part of this session Mark starts with a basic low key set-up to really highlight charlottes bump and get some simple yet beautiful images in the bag straight away. Mark then introduces a blow up bed against Lastolite’s brilliant and versatile Hilite, firstly shooting onto it as a simple hi-key background before using it a large soft window style of light. Combined with some simple material to style the bed this produces some fantastic overhead images.
