Kevin Mullins on Street Photography Part 2
Join Kevin for a round table talk on his street photography and the techniques he uses.
In this film we join Kevin as he talks about his street photography and the techniques he has used to capture them. He discusses in depth the benefits of setting a theme or style to help keep you focused. He then discusses techniques to help capture better images, such as positioning yourself and pre focusing and spot metering on similar toned objects to preset settings, so the subject is exposed correctly and in focus. Kevin then goes on to discuss techniques to help break the initial fear of shooting strangers, one of the most common issues when starting out in street photography. Finally he talks about observing what is happening around you rather then looking through the viewfinder.
