Colour Balance - The Ezybalance by Lastolite
Learn about the importance of correct colour balance throughout your entire shooting workflow as Mark guides you through what the Lastolite Ezybalance is and why you should be using it in your photography.
In this short film, Mark explains what the Lastolite Ezybalance grey card is, why there are multiple sizes and how you should use it within your workflow to guarantee perfect colour throughout every step of the image making process. Mark begins by explaining what a grey card is and why they are important. Then he moves into the studio to demonstrate how to use the Ezybalance in a controlled lighting scenario, such as a commercial food shoot. Mark then heads out on to location to demonstrate how to use the Ezybalance in a variety of mixed light scenarios. He begins with mixed sources both falling onto the subject, then mixed light within a scene and finally how to use gels creatively to change the colours within a scene. Mark also shows you the basic technique of how you use the images of the grey card in the post production process.
