In this film Michelle demonstrates a few ideas to help get your creativity going when starting to shoot abstract macro images. Macro photography can open whole new worlds otherwise unseen by the naked eye, and Michelle shows how just a few simple objects can produce amazing results. Firstly she starts with a simple mixture of Oil and Water over different materials to create strong, colourful patterns before moving onto the intricate details of a weather beaten Log. Finally she shows some of the fascinating details found on Circuit boards and how a little flash can really make an image jump of the page.
