18th Century Fashion with Deborah Selwood Part 3
Learn how Fashion and Beauty photographer Deborah Selwood tackle the fast paced and demanding job that is photographing with a Hair & make-up college.
Join Deborah in the old lace mill that is her studio, with its distressed walls and shabby chic styling, as she shoots this series of 18th Century Fashion themed images for a local Hair & Make-up college. In this next part of the series Deborah explains the second of the three different set-ups for the day, a fairy-tale like set with multiple large mirrors. As Deborah explains, whilst this is a great looking set, the mirrors can cause a multitude of problems meaning lighting and photographer have to be carefully positioned to create the best-looking image. Combined with the requests of the students this can mean some tricky lighting, which can limit the choice of modifiers when creating the shots.
